Ways to Volunteer

In addition to the many committees and volunteer opportunities available through the Parents Association, BHMS also welcomes gifts of time and talent from parents and friends of the school.

Volunteer for the Annual Fund!

Join the Annual Fund Committee and help us achieve our goal of 100% community participation in the Annual Fund. BHMS, like other independent schools, has a significant gap between tuition collected and the total cost to operate our school. The Annual Fund is an integral part of closing that gap. The Annual Fund helps to support professional development, financial aid, classroom materials, technology and library acquisitions, our interdisciplinary program, and other operating costs. As a volunteer, some of your duties will include making your own gift to the Annual Fund as a way to encourage others to give, making phone calls and writing follow up notes, sending out mailings, working on displays, and volunteering for Annual Fund events.

Become an Alumnae/i Class Agent!

We are looking for a member (or members) of each graduating class to work as a class agent. Duties will include contacting classmates to gather news and updates, supporting the fundraising efforts of BHMS, and working on Alumnae/i events that will bring your fellow graduates back to BHMS. Each class agent will be appointed for a two-year term.
