Giving / Development

Just as at all successful independent schools, BHMS’s rich history and exciting future depends upon financial support, above and beyond tuition, from all members of its community. The families, friends, staff, teachers, and alumnae/i of our school heartily support our vision, mission, and ideals and have helped us to raise the funds that have allowed our school to grow. As we establish fundraising goals for each school year, it is important for every member of the community to understand how critical it is for us to achieve a high level of participation and volunteerism to support these continuing efforts.

BHMS envisions that all families who choose an independent school education for their children will take the responsibility to make annual financial contributions, beyond tuition, throughout their tenure with the school. It is our deep hope that all alumnae/i will also show their continued belief in our mission by supporting our fundraising efforts.

The Brooklyn Heights Montessori School is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), non-stock education corporation incorporated by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.
