School and Family Photo Days
Each year in October the school photographer, Stomping Ground, takes individual and group photos of our kids to be ordered by families.
On Family Photo Day, families are invited to sign up for a sitting with the school photographer for great shots of the whole family. Perfect for holiday cards or framed keepsakes. A percentage of the proceeds from orders goes to the Parents Association.
Volunteers needed to help organize the photo days and assist the photographer.

A group of parents will gather in front of BHMS at 6pm to walk over together. Please join us!
Movie Night is an annual event at BHMS. The entire BHMS community is invited to come to the Firehouse to watch a film together. We serve pizza and provide popcorn and healthy snacks. Over the years, movie selections have come from a whole range of genres from every decade since movie-making began, including Hollywood blockbusters, classic foreign films, and kid-friendly documentaries.
The committee chooses the films to be shown, coordinates the publicity for the event, and organizes refreshments including set-up and clean-up. Participation requires only a couple of meetings per year. Volunteering is a great way to meet some parents and take part in a truly fun event!
Winter Book Fair
The Winter Book Fair will provide an opportunity for BHMS families and friends to get together, browse and purchase books, donate books to their child’s classroom and/or the school library, and participate in a variety of fun, family activities. All proceeds of the Book Fair will go to support PA programming and the PA’s annual gift to the school.
The whole BHMS community is invited to celebrate the culture of a particular country or region at the BHMS International Festival. The afternoon includes a pot-luck lunch, professional entertainment, and arts and crafts. This year, be involved in choosing the culture and organizing this fun-filled afternoon.
