Programs: Montessori

The continuity of BHMS’s Montessori program makes us unique in the New York Independent School world. BHMS maintains dual accreditation, both by the American Montessori Society, and by the New York State Association of Independent Schools.

We are proud to offer a consistent Montessori curriculum to children from two years old through eighth grade. We believe that our Montessori approach from Preschool through Middle School provides an exceptional and liberating foundation for children as they prepare for high school and life.

Each Montessori program at BHMS, from the Twos through Middle School, builds upon the previous program and provides a foundation for the next. By graduation from eighth grade, students at BHMS have experienced the myriad of advantages a comprehensive independent Montessori education of the highest quality offers.
