Nils d'Aulaire


Nils and his wife Elizabeth have been BHMS parents since 2013 and have two children at the school; Ella ('23) and Penelope ('26). Nils is a graduate of the film program at Boston University and has lived in Brooklyn since 2009. Currently, Nils is a Creative Director at SXM Media, where he oversees advertising on Pandora, SiriusXM, Stitcher, and Soundcloud, and helps brands develop unique sonic identities. Previously, Nils ran a creative agency where he directed music videos for major-label musicians, developed narrative content for video games, and helped higher-ed institutions raise millions of dollars. An avid musician, Nils plays multiple stringed instruments and has written songs that have cracked the Billboard Top Ten comedy charts. Nils developed and starred in the cut-hit movie The History of Future Folk, available on Netflix, and is currently working on a children's book. Previously, Nils served on the PA at BHMS and joined the board in 2021 where he serves on the Institutional Advancement Committee.
