Financial Aid Mission
Since opening in 1965, in keeping with the Mission of providing educational excellence to a diverse community of students, BHMS has maintained a strong commitment to offering need-based financial aid. Financial Aid is awarded to make a BHMS education accessible for students from a range of economic backgrounds. Financial Aid awards are based on demonstrated need and funds available from the school. Financial Aid is a financial grant awarded by the school to a family.
Brooklyn Heights Montessori School has an institutional commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusivity. In that spirit, and in accordance with the law, BHMS does not discriminate in the administration of Financial Aid policies on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, national origin, or any other characteristic.
Financial Aid begins in Kindergarten and the deadline to apply is December 1. After December 1, contact Elise Mattia for an access code needed to apply. For additional information visit the FAQs page.

December 1 is the deadline to submit a complete Financial Aid application.
Applications will be analyzed and awards determined by the School’s Financial Aid Committee. If the deadline for complete applications is met, awards will be announced with acceptance letters.
