Celadon Whitehurst
Trustee
Celadon has been a BHMS parent since 2020, with two children at the school (in the 3s and in second grade). Prior to joining the Board, she served as a BHMS classroom representative for three years and the Treasurer for the Parents Association last year. Previously, Celadon advised clients in international trademark, counterfeit, and counterfeit goods matters at a boutique intellectual property firm, was named a “Rising Star” by New York Metro Super Lawyers, and served on the board of a non-profit center that offered early education classes to the community. Celadon graduated from Emory University and earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. This is Celadon’s first year on the BHMS Board of Trustees, where she sits on the Finance and Investment and Institutional Advancement Committees. Celadon attended a Montessori school in Atlanta through sixth grade and is passionate about sharing her love for BHMS and the Montessori philosophy. She also loves going to comedy shows with her husband (Sean Saroya), learning new languages, and playing mahjong, and is hoping to begin volunteering with an immigration law clinic this year.
