Chiara and her husband, Francesco Del Bufalo, have been BHMS parents since 2023 and have two children enrolled: Tommaso in first grade and Alberto in the preschool threes program. Chiara works as an ethnographic researcher to inform programs that address poverty in under-resourced communities across the country. She recently started a small business, providing personal styling services to busy moms. Chiara graduated from Bates College and holds graduate degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Public Policy from University College London and The New School, respectively. Now in her first year on the BHMS Board of Trustees, Chiara serves on the [insert committee name] committee. She is especially committed to supporting the school’s ongoing work to center equity across all areas of community life. Originally from Italy, Chiara has lived in eight countries and speaks three languages.
