Maki Uchida and her husband, Garrett Bainbridge, have been BHMS parents since 2022 and have a son, Kaito, who is currently in 4th grade. Maki is a Landscape Architect at MPFP, a firm located in Manhattan’s Financial District. Among the firm’s 200 ongoing projects, she has contributed to major works such as rooftop spaces for Microsoft, terraces for Morgan Stanley, and the renovation of the American Yacht Club. Maki holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Science and a master’s degree in landscape architecture from Cornell University. This is her first year serving on the BHMS Board of Trustees.
