Parent Diversity Group
As the Parent Diversity Group, here at BHMS, our approach is to educate our community on topics that may seem taboo to discuss in an open forum. We strive to help parents and children gain a better understanding of the world around us, the significant role we each play in society, and ways in which we can bring a different perspective on topics such as:
Learning Differences / Style
"Joy, feeling one's value, being appreciated and loved by others, feeling useful and capable of production are all factors of enormous value for the human soul."

We encourage all adults in the community to join in the conversation. Whether you have read some or all of the book everyone is welcome!
What We Do
The PDG sponsors four main events each year — like workshops, book groups, discussions, presentations from diversity professionals — to bring in the latest thinking around issues of diversity and social justice. All members of the community are welcomed to join and share their experiences or listen to the experiences of others.
If you would like to get involved in planning or supporting our events, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
