Dani Banky

Dani was born & raised outside of Philadelphia (Go Birds!), then spent her teenage years in Newport, Rhode Island before moving to Vermont for college. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English & Studio Art as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from The University of Vermont. She is an educator who is committed to being culturally responsive and ensuring the social emotional well-being of all her students. Peace education and radical empathy is at the heart of her teaching philosophy. More than anything in this important work, she values her strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Outside of teaching, Dani enjoys yoga, art, reading, watching movies and spending time with loved ones.
