Katy Easley

Katy is thrilled to join the BHMS Upper Elementary Teaching Team! Katy was the Literacy Specialist at Hamilton Park Montessori School for the past five years. Prior to that, she taught Upper and Lower Elementary in Champaign, Illinois. Katy holds a B.A. in Modern Languages from Knox College, Montessori certifications for both Lower and Upper Elementary, a M.A. in Literacy from Teachers College, and a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan. When not teaching, Katy loves taking long walks, playing board games, reading, and writing stories. Katy’s favorite part of teaching is learning alongside her students!
